Services
The Wendy House Nursery Team aim to achieve the goals set by the Scottish Executive Curriculum for Excellence. We also aim to provide a safe, warm, loving and caring environment where your child can progress steadily through the various stages of development in the early formative years. Our staff are all qualified, highly professional and experienced and share the values of our organisation.
At The Wendy House we firmly believe that the experiences, the environment and the quality of care that young children receive is of high importance to their future development. An environment where children feel nurtured and safe and which promotes children's all round development. We plan very sensitive and individualised settling arrangements where we build up the time that the child is with us gradually over the course of a week.
In the 2-5 room we provide a curriculum for learning which fosters children's love and enthusiasm for learning. Our experienced and dedicated staff team plan a range of fun and stimulating activities and experiences in response to children's interests and next steps of learning.
The nursery embraces a Curriculum for Excellence which aims to achieve a transformation in education in Scotland by providing a coherent, more flexible and enriched curriculum from 3 to 18.A keyworker keeps a portfolio of each child's progress and development, filled with wonderful photographs and works with each child and parent to identify the child's next steps of learning.

My son currently attends the Wendy House Nursery. I had no reservations to send him here due to knowing that the environment is so welcoming, safe and stimulating. My eldest child went to the Nursery previously. As soon as you walk into the Nursery room you are met with a buzz of activity and the room itself is so bright, with children's work displayed throughout.

After visiting many nurseries The Wendy House was definitely my first choice, easily.My son has been here for 6 months now and I couldn't be happier with the care provided.Chelcie ,Ellen ,Niamh and Katriona made what was a very stressful settling period (for myself ) so much easier .Their constant reassurance and support went above and beyond. Absolutely love the staff and appreciate all their hard work and dedication .5 stars is not enough for this place it's 10 stars from me .

My daughter has just left the wendyhouse to start school, she has been at this nursery since she was 10months old and loved every minute of it! Each room is set up for different age groups and all the rooms are amazing, very welcoming and comforting for children. The outdoor area also great with a great selection of toys and bikes. The staff are amazing at the wendyhouse so friendly and approachable and the kids just adore them, even the newest members of the team have madea massive great impression on myself and my wee girl. Nothing is ever to much for the staff at the wendyhouse and they are
