We encourage our students to be their own individual selves whilst learning from, and with, each other and sharing a love of dance and performing in the studio and on the stage. Our aim is to actively help build our student's confidence, self esteem and creativity. We strive to foster a feeling of family among all our students. Please take a look around this site to see everything that Stagestruck Dance Academy has to offer.
Services
Stagestruck Dance Academy began in 2005 with 2 classes, one day a week, in Ballet & Tap for children aged 4-8. We now have over 35 lessons every week covering Ballet, Tap, Modern, Acrobatics, Commercial and Musical Theatre as well as private lessons and group classes for our competition team. Children can join SDA from as young as 18 months old in our Dance With Me classes for toddlers and parents/carers.
Please tell us a little about your child, leave your details and we'll get back to you within 24 hours. Our classes teach not only correct dance & performing arts techniques but are entertaining and imaginative too! Just once or twice a week for fun and fitness or on multiple days for a more comprehensive programme including competitions - the choice is yours.
We offer a number of performance opportunities every year to our students including annual productions held at a professional theatre. Whilst we strongly encourage all our dancers to take up the option to perform, nobody will ever be forced to take part. Taking part and performing in an SDA show has many benefits for our students and young dancers.
Becoming a member of the Competition Team opens up more opportunities, throughout the year, where students can take their training from the the studio to the stage! Students can compete with solos, duets, trios and/or troupes and groups. The students that tend to have the most fun and get the most out of competing are those that thrive in a group/team setting.

My daughters have danced at Stagestruck Dance Academy for 5 years. Initially I enrolled my eldest daughter because she was so shy and lacked confidence being around others. This was undoubtedly the best decision I made. Over the last 5 years she has grown in confidence, made new friends and stepped outside of her comfort zone and she loves it. My younger daughter just loved to dance and has danced at SDA since being 2 1/2 and she loves it. The studio facilities are fabulous with big bright dance studios and a singing studio and the teachers are wonderful. Whatever your reasons for looking for a
