We are a family run business which is headed by well-known chef Michele Rossetti and his partner Lesia Robertson. Michelle has an outstanding reputation in the area with over 50 years experience in the restaurant business and has catered for such people as Mel Gibson, Glen Close and Franco Zeffirelli to name but a few.

We at Mamma Mia can cater for over 30 covers for lunch and evening meals and serve light bites and coffee throughout the day. Michele cooks everything from fresh and sources locally from the abundant suppliers in the area. Lesia runs the front of house with her daughter Shinice and also helps Michele in the kitchen.

Excellent pizza, (can't recall having better in Scotland), friendly service and lively/fun atmosphere.
Edit: Had the pleasure of returning and the Pizza is still amazing.

This place, if your visiting Banchory Aberdeenshire has the most amazing pizzas 🍕ever, the service is friendly and fast, would highly recommend visiting here.

Lovely little Italian restaurant. Currently just serving pizzas, but they are fantastic and all freshly made. The coffee is excellent too. Will definitely be back.

As we now have the time, I thought I would jot down my review. Firstly, I will say that we should have read the reviews left on tripadvisor more carefully. A clear sign would have been how the owners backlash at anything other than a perfect review.... Having been fortunate enough to eat in some of the most fabulous restaurants in Italy, we felt that this experience, was well below par. I won't nitpick, but it was just not up to the standard we expect. The unfriendliness of the owner and the lack of atmosphere did not do the establishment any favours either.

Absolutely superb food and great hosts. Service was fantastic - really friendly and accommodating. The pizza was literally amazing and so tasty. And, they make their own hot sauce which was excellent and you can buy it. Definitely worth going to.

Literally three BEST pizza in Scotland! The crust is perfect! The pasta is also delicious. The staff is extremely kind and takes pride in what they do. We always look forward to coming back here!

We went here as a family of five. Excellent diner, very hospitable and the kind owner served us the lunch, which was only pizza (but that wasn't a problem). Food was delicious and fresh. The restaurant looked tidy and pleasantly decorated. Can definitely recommend.
