HDA Chartered Financial Planners was founded in 1986 as Hugh Davies Associates. We now provide financial planning advice to clients who are growing their wealth, approaching retirement or in retirement. We also help employers to run their workplace pension and other employee benefit schemes with HDA Workplace.

And we recognise our social responsibility to help people get the basics right and avoid costly mistakes. As financial planners, rather than advisers, it's all about relationships, not just transactions.

I came to Peter Clark of HDA about 7 years ago with private and work pension funds to figure out what to do with. At the same time I was starting my own company. From the start Peter was a fund of useful information and provided me with excellent advice. Peter knows his stuff inside out and can always explain things clearly in a way that's easy to understand. He's backed up by the HDA team who are always quick to respond and thoroughly professional. I'm really pleased with the way the products and advice are tailored to my circumstances; the funds have performed well through some tough times too

I first approached HDA several years ago as I had several pension pots and was unsure if they were providing the best return. Peter reviewed my situation then discussed everything in 'plain English' advising on the various options available to me. I decided to combine my pension funds & move everything to a new plan that would work my fund harder & which would hopefully provide a much better return (although I know nothing in life, or pensions, is ever guaranteed). I periodically receive updates from HDA which are clear & easy to understand & Peter is always on hand should I have any questions

I contacted Peter at HDA as I wanted to consolidate all my pensions and he had been highly recommended to me. Peter was friendly, professional and courteous, and he made sure that I understood everything before continuing. Peter advised me of all my options and once the decision was made he sorted everything without fuss.
I get regular updates on my pension pot and I am able to contact Peter if I have any queries to which I always receive an immediate response.

I have been a customer of HDA for many years. They have handled all my pension contributions before retirement, and my withdrawals since retirement, and have always given me good advice and guidance. They are very friendly and approachable, and are always available for any discussions or meetings. I would certainly recommend them

I spoke with HDA, Pete Clark, who immediately made an appointment to visit my home to discuss the options. Pete came up with a very sound investment plan for my money, which will give me a very flexible solution going forward into my retirement.
HDA were able to work with all my pension providers to ensure that the investments chosen gave the the very best value for my money, and gave me peace of mind, that my financial matters are being very professionally managed.
