Oakwood Estates was founded in 2008 and since then we have grown to 6 thriving branches located along the Crossrail. We are a fresh dynamic company who are always trying to innovate and stay ahead of the curve with the latest technology and methods of working. I was born in London but spent my early years in Buckinghamshire schooling at Thorpe House, Clares Court and John Hampden Grammar School before obtaining a degree in marketing at Portsmouth University in 2006. I joined blue chip company Hayes PLC in 2006. My name is Edward Godfrey and I am the Sales Director at Oakwood Estates.
The Land & New Homes Department is led by Jolyon Burgess. Jolyon has over 20 years' experience acquiring and disposing of development opportunities for public sector, corporate and private developers across the south of the UK. Oakwood Estates offers a unique, concentrated network of branches running from Maidenhead to West Drayton along the new Elizabeth Line (Crossrail) train stations.
The buyer pays his solicitor monies for searches so that these can be submitted as soon as the draft contract is received. The buyer's mortgage survey takes place plus any further survey that the buyer has requested to be carried out.
When the draft contract is received the buyer's solicitor will check the copies of the title deeds received, the property information forms, (plus if leasehold, a copy of the lease and leasehold information) and raise any enquiries on the paperwork with the seller's solicitors that appear necessary.

Oakwood Estates have a selection of Mortgage Brokers who work closely alongside each of our branches. They are able to advise on residential mortgages and commercial finance and have access to thousands of mortgage schemes from up to 149 lenders, including exclusive deals not available on the High St.

I had an amazing experience with Katie from the Datchet store. She was so lovely and kept me in the loop with everything that was going on. She went above and beyond when it came to trying to move me in to the new place as soon as possible. When Katie was on her lunch when I rang her colleague was aware of what needed to be done with my application and I didn't even need to explain. The communication and professionalism from the team was so refreshing.
Honestly cannot recommend Oakwood Estates enough. So friendly, personable, professional and made everything so incredibly easy!

I was interested to rent out my house and spoke with Brandon Tan. He communicated with me periodically, having always kept me and my property in his mind. When I decided to go down the lettings route, Brandon found me a suitable tenant within a week. He communicated with me continuously from answering my questions to giving me updates. Cole Caesar at the Datchet office was excellent in quickly finding a suitable tenant for our property! I recently secured a rented property in Datchet through the assistance and guidance of Oakwood Estates.
I dealt with Brandon throughout the process, who was extremely helpful and effecient in taking us through from the viewing, all the way to the signing of the contract.

Oakwood were very helpful in navigating all the twists and turns in the house buying journey. They took the time to understand what we were looking for and provided useful suggestions for houses that fit our criteria. Smooth, professional & timely service right from viewing, making an offer, exchanging & picking up our keys. For our first time renting through an agency we were blown away by the professionalism and how the agent helped us through the whole process. We went for a viewing and the agent helped us close a deal with the landlord within an hour and a half, the tenant portal was set up with all the information we could have needed and we began the process then moved in just this weekend gone.
We didn’t have to worry about anything!
