Before you choose a burglar alarm system for your business there are some important decisions you need to make. Should it be a wired system or wire-free? Hard-wired intruder alarm systems, which were the only choice for many years, are now being challenged by the latest generation of wireless systems.

The Risco Gardtec 600 series system offers top-class protection and the flexibility that comes from being able to use a full range of wired and wireless detectors to suit the risk posed by the premises. The system is operated from a "plain English" keypad which our customers have told us is very simple to use.

A monitored alarm traditionally means a system that creates an alert to emergency services and key-holders when it is triggered. Before the 1980's, systems used a "999 dialer" - a device which just dialled 999 and then played a looped tape message! Modern systems which require a police response must be connected though an accredited Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) and be registered with the police authority in advance.

The Paxton Net2 system allows you to control entry to your business premises, and even different areas within the building. Staff can be restricted to certain departments, or given access only at certain times of the day or week. Visitors or temporary staff can be give access to only the areas they need.
