We are a family-run business with an excellent reputation for providing heavy goods driver training for the past 29 years. Our dedicated, experienced driving instructors teach on a personal one-to-one basis and offer services to both private and commercial learner drivers across South Wales and the South West of England areas.
We understand that suppliers need to move goods from point A to point B. With LGV drivers, you can deliver goods easily and safely. If you want to become a HGV driver, then Category C training is for you. From large removals trucks to haulage trucks, you can learn to drive all HGV vehicles. To train for HGV Category C licence, you must be at least 18 years old and must hold a valid car driving licence.
Are you looking to drive an articulated truck? Are you looking for opportunities to drive abroad? We can help. Category C and E training enables you to drive category C vehicles with a trailer over 750kg. To obtain the Category C and E licence, you must already have a Category C licence. You can improve your earning potential and develop the knowledge and expertise needed to become a professional driver.
Do you want to drive an LGV typically used for removals or supermarket deliveries? At DH Jones Driver Training Ltd, our instructors have a wealth of experience in HGV/LGV training. You can rest assured that all our vehicles are clean and maintained to a high standard. Category C1 enables you to drive vehicles weighing between 3,500 and 7,500kg (with a trailer up to 750kg).
Do you want to tow a larger trailer or do want to work in the removals industry? Then our Category C1+E course is for you. The training enables you drive Category C vehicles with a trailer over 750kg, and gives you a pulling power of 8.25 tonnes in total. The course is conducted over four to five days, depending on your driving experience.

Thank's to AJ, Ben and Harry I've passed my cat C driving test today. I am very happy with results!! They've learned me how to drive a truck in just 4 days. AJ teaches in high safety standards very friendly and professional team would 100% recommended! Looking forward to do my C+E too.

Went with these guys to do my Cat C & CPC and can't fault them. AJ, Harry & Ben were all great to deal with.
On test day we ended up getting stuck in a closure on the M4 that happened just in front and these guys went above and beyond to try and get the test moved to around and ended up with the next slot!

I passed my class 2 on my first attempt. I couldn't be happier with the training I received from the guys. AJ my instructor was brilliant his experience really shows with all the trick and tips he has. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to get your hgv licence. Looking forward to going back to do my class 1!

Great company, very friendly and family orientated. Time flew by and before I new it the test was upon me. Always put at ease and given the confidence I was doing well (even though at times I thought I wasn’t). Very experienced but laid back training style from Ben & particularly Craig who I spent most of my driving with. Looking forward to going through the next course for my C&E (HGV 1) - thanks guys.
