We have a reputation for our comprehensive stock of marine equipment, charts and books, enhanced by good technical knowledge. We offer a special order service for non-stock items and enjoy the challenge of sourcing obscure boat hardware!

Services
Whether you are learning to sail or an experienced sea dog, our book department offers all you need. We stock charts, pilots, log books, reference and RYA publications. Plan your voyage up the West Coast or further afield. Browse for marine fiction and biography, gloom and doom and adventure on the high seas, as well as Scottish interest and children's books.
As well as regular fenders we also supply dock fenders, line holders, 'custom made' chain/rope assemblies and a variety of specialist boat hooks to make parking easier! For a peaceful nights sleep, choose from our range of anchors including Delta and Rocna, then add chain and rope to suit. We offer inflatable dinghies from Waveline and Seago, as well as trailer wheels, oars, davits and repair kits.
We supply a comprehensive range of safety equipment for both leisure and coded craft including life rafts, flares, fire extinguishers, man overboard equipment, radar reflectors and grab bags. Our lifejackets, lifelines and buoyancy aids for adults and children offer a wide choice of fit and specification.
Whether winter squad training in high performance boats or fair-weather boating with the family, finding the right gear to suit your style of dinghy sailing isn't a problem with our wide range of clothing for adults and children. Drysuits, wetsuits, hiking pants, layers to keep you warm, boots and gloves are all available from stock.
Use base and mid layers to wick moisture away from the skin and provide insulation then choose from our range of waterproofs to keep everyone dry whether day sailing or crossing oceans. All are breathable with fully sealed seams and our choice of suppliers ensures we can fit all ages, shapes and sizes.

Excellent chandlers. The range of stock is incredible, everything a sailor needs and all well presented and laid out. Considering the small floor space the arrangement of such a plethora of the stock is amazing. The staff are very polite, patient and endlessly helpful and offer very good and impartial advice. It is in a very pleasant, handy location. The prices can be eye-watering but that's the marine industry not the chandlery's fault. What a shame some people leave 1 star reviews when they probably only went in to window-shop in a yacht chandlery during a pandemic.

Disappointing customer service. Hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. Prices too high and very limited choices.
Wish they would do what the state, but don't do mask requirements · staff not wearing masks · Staff do not disinfect surfaces between visits · no safety dividers at checkout. One small stickers stating "wear a face mask", no limit on number of people, no hand sanitiser freely available.

We were visiting Largs and popped into the shop Largs Chandlers!
We arrived through the door , to be yelled at in no uncertain terms:
Sanatize
Looking around we were then told
The big yellow sign the one that says Sanatize
Very sarcastic, rude, and unnecessary attitude.
There is an impending recession you really should be courteous to your customers....
Never again!!
