Regular vehicle servicing ensures that your car is safe, not just for you, but for other road users too. Making sure your vehicle is running at optimum performance also improves fuel efficiency, prolongs the life of your vehicle and can prove to be much cheaper in the long run. A badly maintained vehicle is unsafe, inefficient and those breakdowns will add up to a much larger bill than regular servicing costs.
If you think that you need to take your car to a main dealer to avoid invalidating you vehicle's warranty, then think again! Thanks to this legislation, maintenance and service work does not have to be done by the main dealer as long as the garage uses original equipment 'matching quality' parts and is recorded as such, and also the garage follows the manufacturer's service schedules.
