A typical slate re-roof will involve removing the top ridge tiles, all old slates, old roof battens and old under-felt (should there be any). We will fit 5U eaves guard, new breathable membrane and new treated battens before laying new slates, ridge tiles will then be relayed on a strong mortar bedding.
