Services
We are able to dispense private prescriptions written by a UK registered Doctor, Dentist or Veterinary Surgeon. Please note: on a private prescription, you are paying the actual price of the medicine. This price is in no way related to the NHS prescription charge of 8.40, which is a flat rate government charge on each prescription item, unrelated to the drug cost.
The Medicines Use Review (MUR) is a structured review that is undertaken by a pharmacist to help patients to manage their medicines more effectively. The MUR involves the pharmacist reviewing the patient's USE of their medication, ensuring they understand how their medicines should be used and why they have to take them, identifying any problems and then providing feedback to the prescriber via the NHS MUR form.

My husband and I were on holiday in the area when my husband feel ill,phone 111 and was asked to go to walk in centre in Salisbury and he saw a doctor.My husband is diabetic and was given a prescription to get.
On 8 Sept 2021 l drove to Fordenbridge pharmacy to get his prescription, the chemist opens up at 7.30am I was there at at 7.45am to be told that the pharmacies was running late and was due in the chemist in 2 hours time,this is a disgrace how does the chemist run a business.I was not prepared to wait until the pharmacies to come and had to go to LLOYD'S pharmacy had to wait until 8.30am

What is going on at Fordingbridge Pharmacy? Absolute chaos tonight and a lot of unhappy clients. Unfortunately not the first time my meds have been wrong. I wonder if it is to do with your email system coming from GPS and other departments? Lovely staff who run them self ragged to help. Something isn’t working however. If you are understaffed and overwhelmed please reach out and ask for extra support. We need you guys!

Such friendly staff and pharmacist! My wife and I have been customers/patients for about four years now, and because of my wife’s severe disability, she needs a great deal of extra care. Fordingbridge pharmacy make this easy, by always treating you with dignity and respect (which, considering my acute depression is a Godsend). The pharmacist is a consummate professional, and the ladies and gents who sort the medication are so accommodating and helpful! I cannot recommend them more fully. Contrary to other reviews I have found this pharmacy unreliable with unhelpful and rude staff, particularly being made to wait without even an acknowledgement of one's existence. They consistently let me down and provided me with contradictory advise about my prescriptions and even though they may have better opening hours I'd rather put myself out to go elsewhere and no that the service will be more reliable and to an acctable syandard
