I purchased two Eames study chairs from David at Cherished Art and Design. David is clearly someone who has a real passion for his trade and this is reflected in the quality and depth of range he carries and the way in which he is able to take you through the design history for each piece. Service was excellent - I required a small adjustment to one of the chairs which would have only taken 15 minutes but because I was short is time and couldn’t wait he sorted them out and delivered them to my home.

In January 2020 we purchased a tulip table designed by Eero Saarinen from Cherished Art and Designs Ltd. The entire experience was excellent. Our contact David was very knowledgeable and responsive to our inquiries; his experience greatly helped us to select a unique piece of design furniture which we cherish every day. The table is in outstanding condition and also the international delivery to Germany was smooth. We recently had the pleasure and good fortune to meet David Rokov of Cherished Designs, and visit his warehouse in Berkshire.
‘Warehouse’ really doesn’t do it justice - it is more like an Aladdin’s Cave full of wonders for anyone interested in 20th Century furniture and design.
Clearly David Rokov is such a person, with an extensive knowledge and passion for his large collection, lovingly accrued and nurtured over many years.
David had laid out a beautiful presentation for us on our visit, so that we were able to examine and test out at first-hand, and explore at our will.
Having seen
