Services
At Sunshine day Nurseries we pride ourselves on giving children the best start in life. We have been providing good quality childcare for many years and continue to strive for excellence. We pride ourselves on ensuring that your child will have a fun and exciting time in an environment where they will be nurtured and cared for by highly trained staff.
Our aim at the Sunshine Day Nursery is to work in partnership with parents and carers and their children to:. Provide a safe, secure, homely, stimulating, caring and happy environment where your child can flourish and stretch their aspirations as an individual, developing sound foundations for their social, physical, and intellectual development.
My son has been here for 3 years and we could not have hoped for a more caring, fun, nurturing and happy environment. He has loved every day here and has so many friends. The staff are wonderful without exception and have so much entheusiasm and love of the children. It's been a delight to know our little boy has had such a wonderful early learning experience, always safe and happy.
Our nursery has an under 2's area which consists of two rooms, Raindrops 1 and Raindrops 2. The rooms are friendly and inviting and have activities and experiences all on a child's level to ensure we stimulate their young minds. Both the Raindrops rooms take children from the age of 4 months up to approximately 24 months.
All Rainbows children have the opportunity to experience play in a way that they feel most comfortable. Staff will provide opportunities for free, structured, gross and fine motor play. Rainbows has three main play areas. These areas are the Creative area, Construction, role-play, let's explore, and the book corner area.

My son went here because I work at the hallmashire and it had good ratings, but the actual experience we had was awful.
Whilst he was in the under 2 section there were a couple of carers who were really good, although it was quite clear that he was bored and under stimulated and would sometimes be unhappy going in.
The main trouble started when he went up to the Iver 2 section, he absolutely hated it and conversations with the carers there made it obvious why. They would complain that my son had been flushing toys down the toilet and playing with their phone asif the issue wasn't that he was

It's a shame they need to spoil the vibe in this "good" (Ofsted) nursery where there are lots good and friendly staff, by implementing dreadful management decisions like imposing a £6 "fine" for being 5 minutes late picking up your child, and demanding you go straight to the office and hand over the cash!
