Services
Chinese Herbs are an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). They are specifically formulated in China and include flowers, leaf stalks, seeds and roots. The doctor prescribes combinations of herbs (carefully selecting up to a total of 300) specifically suited to treat you and your conditions.
At the clinic we have helped many patients recover from injury, illness, improve their quality of life and meet their goals such as losing weight or dealing with stress. In some cases, patients have written to us to express their gratitude, and share how acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine have helped them.
Practitioners use single-use pre-sterilised disposable needles, which are disposed of after each treatment. The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (UK) members observe the Code of Practice, which establishes stringent standards of hygiene and sterilisation of equipment. Individual patients react differently; many feel relaxed and calm following treatment, while others feel alert and energised.
Based on the overall symptoms a patient has, which includes the state of illness, the patient's gender, age, and constitution, the physician begins, within established traditional guidelines, to form a basic precription and then adjusts the mixture to the patients needs by adding or deleting various herbs, or manipulating the dosages of the compounds to fit the precise disharmony.

After suffering from sever pain in one knee for several months, for which the NHS could only offer pain killers, I decided to try acupuncture. Happily, the results greatly surpassed my expectations! After the first treatment there was a noticeable reduction in pain levels and after four sessions I can walk normally with almost no discomfort. Although I was previously sceptical about the benefits of acupuncture I would now strongly recommend you try this treatment if you have chronic joint pain. Dr Yu is highly professional and clearly knows what she is doing. Many thanks for your help.

EXCELLENT TREATMENT
Effective treatment in managing mental health.
Dr Yu’s acupuncture and herbal medicine is absolutely enabling me to take my life back fully. My mind, body and spirit is becoming strong and resilient again. I feel joy and freedom from horrible symptoms like psychosis. My mind is calmer and thoughts more manageable. Mental health workers, family and friends have noticed a significant positive change in me. Thank you Doctor, I am becoming myself again because I had been living at the mercy of mental health symptoms for so long. I hope this treatment can become more mainstream

I'm very happy with my treatment. I have mobility issues and have great pain in my knees and ankles. Sometimes I can't walk because my legs stop working. My son received help here and I wanted to try too. The doctor used acupuncture to help me with heat and massage.
I can't go often, but every time I visit the clinic I can walk without pain and in peace for a good time. Thank you so much.

I was suffering from intense nerve pain as a symptom of Lyme disease, Western medicine could only suggest pain killers so I looked for an alternative, after two accupuncture treatments I was practically pain free, which felt like a miracle after months of horrible pain.

I can not recommend this clinic highly enough, I was treated with kindness and consideration, listened to and given good honest advice, and I now visit monthly as a preventative to boost my immune system.

Poor, expensive consultation. The lady has no knowledge of what she is talking about. absolute waste of money. She reports normal blood pressure and pulse rate abnormal and names it Chinese way of interpreting results!! Shame these people are even allowed to give medic advice.
