Having fire extinguishers in premises is a legal requirement under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, official guidance advocates the provision of fire-fighting equipment to be present. Portable fire extinguishers are the most universally acceptable form of fire extinguishing equipment and are available in a range of sizes and class types.
Premium Fire Protection offers this service along with staff awareness training & fire warden training. Although Fire Risk Assessments have been made compulsory by law at Premium Fire we don't believe this to be just a tick box exercise. Companies and organisations adopting this approach are possibly putting themselves, their workforce and others using their premises at risk.

Having sufficient emergency lighting to ensure the means of escape are illuminated in the event of a power failure is important. The escape routes require emergency lighting, but areas of danger, electrical intake rooms, lift motor rooms, fire alarm panel and fire equipment locations. These requirements come under The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, which places a duty on the 'Responsible Person' to ensure these measures are in place.
UK Fire Legislation The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) 2005 and the Fire Safety (Employees Capabilities) (England) Regulations 2010 requires all employers to ensure that all employees are provided with adequate fire safety training on induction and at least annually.
