Services
Most people starting up in business do so because they have a good business proposition and the enterprise and commitment to see it through. However, they may not be experts in the legal and financial aspects of running a business and such matters often appear daunting. Fortunately you do not need to be an expert in these fields to succeed in business but you do need the support of a team of trained experts.
We provide a range of compliance services to support all aspects of business administration. We can help you by making sure accounts are prepared in the correct format, statutory books and other company secretarial records are kept up-to-date and that all statutory returns are prepared. Our experienced team will relieve you of the regulatory burden and leave you more time to concentrate on other areas of your business.
The combination of your business knowledge and our support services will help your business to grow and increase profitability. Regular management information is vital to the continued success of any business. We work closely with you to get to know your business so we can make suggestions to help improve profits or to develop and grow your business.
As tax advisers, our objective is to work closely with you to ensure you pay the minimum tax required by law. We will help you to understand the tax implications of your actions, in order that you can plan ahead and conduct your affairs in a tax efficient way. Under Corporation Tax Self Assessment (CTSA), the legal responsibility for correctly calculating the corporation tax liability falls on business owners.
This group of factsheets covers taxes on the disposal, generally by way of sale, of capital assets and the taxes due on death. We consider whether any tax is due on the sale of the family home and the availability of principal private residence and other reliefs. Inheritance tax (IHT) is levied on a person's estate when they die and on certain gifts made during an individual's lifetime.

Alan has been my accountant for many years, always efficient and reasonably priced (what more can you want).

Report
The company completed our Self Assessment and in addition to number of error pointed out to the accountant a year later we received a letter from HMRC highlighting an error, which resulted in underpaid tax by £1140. Terminated all relationships with the company and would not recommend it to anyone.
