Established in 1973, Midland Alloy has developed a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the manufacture of complex aluminium parts. Operating from our own 22,000 sq ft purpose-built premises, we are centrally located in the UK in Telford, Shropshire. We manufacture parts for multiple industries including the Automotive, Rail, Aerospace, Medical and Architectural industries.
By using numerous techniques, such as custom tooling and error avoidance, we increase the accuracy, repeatability and cost-effectiveness of your project. With the use of various in-house Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM's), we can check your parts back to original CAD data or drawings before they are dispatched.
For over 40 years, Midland Alloy has developed and perfected specialist skills in aluminium section bending, tube bending and rolling. As specialists in metal forming, we can bend aluminium extrusions, tubes and bars to tight tolerances. Other metals, such as steel, can also be processed. By producing custom bend tooling for each project, we ensure your parts are manufactured in an accurate and cost-effective way.
We specialise in complex 5 axis CNC machining of non-ferrous materials such as aluminium extrusions and castings with large-scale production capabilities. As specialist CNC machinists, we can machine aluminium extrusions, low and high pressure aluminium castings and solid aluminium plate to tight tolerances.
As specialist TIG welders, we can weld aluminium extrusions, tubes, bars and castings into finished products. Other metals, such as steel, can also be processed. By producing custom welding fixtures for each project, we ensure your parts are manufactured in an accurate and cost-effective way. MIG welding is a quicker welding process and allows longer welds to be made more efficiently.
