Centurion Packaging
Centurion Packaging was founded on Centurion Way in Leyland, Lancashire in the mid 1970's. The business distributed FIBC's, polypropylene sacks and paper sacks. This was along side dedicated packaging for the emerging clothing recycling industry - bale wraps, botany and box bags. Rapid expansion saw diversification into stretch film and wide width polythene in the company's extrusion plant.

Centurion Packaging was subsequently bought by MacFarlane Clansman and continued to prosper. In 2001 Centurion Packaging Limited was incorporated when the polypropylene division was acquired by Holrose Limited - the current owners. The company is now based in Golborne, Warrington, Cheshire. Using the historic products as a base Centurion Packaging has flourished.
Services
The open top plain base bag (OT/PB) is a simple bulk bag that has many uses, some of which can be seen below. This bag has four lifting loops sewn into the corners of the bags main body fabric, giving this bulk bag it's very high strength. Don't forget that Centurion Packaging can customise your bulk bag to meet your specific requirements.
These baffles are manufactured specifically to allow the material to flow into the corners of the bag. Within this design mechanism and because of the cubic shape of the bag, the "Q" bag requires less storage space and can reduce transportation costs up to 30% in comparison with a standard big bag.
We are the UK's leading sack stockists and distributor, specialising in flat woven polypropylene sacks for Agricultural, Industrial, Recycling, Feed trades.
