John formed Road and Race Restorations Ltd in 1988 to provide funds to continue his success in racing. However, starting a family and developing the business into restoring classics curtailed his racing activities. Not really one for leaving reviews but when i have received an exceptional service then it is well deserved!! Road & Race were recommended to me by a friend of mine who has had a repair done by them before and she could not praise them enough, top and bottom of it, some idiot went through a red light and smashed the passenger side of my car, i called Road & Race and all i can say is from start to finish the service that was delivered was impeccable, from collecting my car, and being kept up to date all the way through the process (as it was stressful enough) the staff are so friendly and helpful

Absolutely incredible service from these guys. Had my Audi in for bodywork damage and alloy wheel/tyre damage. Work was carried out to the highest standard and turned around in 7 days. Gaz and Marcella out the office offered a great service and kept me up to date regarding repairs/cost. Will definitely use again. Top job guys 👍🏻

Great service from Road And Race, from start to finish all the staff were friendly and attentive, particularly Bodyshop manager Dave who was a pleasure to deal with and couldn’t do enough for me right from the start including fitting me in for a damage assessment within one hour of my initial enquiry, and leaving the car there the same day. From… there the team took practically full ownership of the Insurance claim against the 3rd party and offered up a courtesy car with more or less immediate availability. Very poor workmanship sprayed side of my car
The inside of the back door is like sandpaper.
When questioned this they said it had had a bad spray job previously . And they couldn’t blend it properly . Will wait for Audi’s verdict of quality of job.
Also had two alloys refurbished in December
Laquer and paint starting to come off.
They put down to stone chip.
Had second opinion from alloy specialist
I was informed the wheel had not been preped properly causing it to peel bk to metal
Not a stone had chipped it and moisture got behind it as they tried to say
Avoid this company unfortunately

Wowwww collected my Porsche Cayman 718 today after it having quite a lot of body work painting etc. It looks absolutely Amazing !!! From start too finish I have been treated with the utmost respect, friendliness and kindness by everyone i have met at Road and Race from the teenage apprentice putting out the rubbish to the man at the top Mr. Bradshaw...i dealt mainly with Thomas Bradshaw who I can't praise enough!! These guys really know their stuff and CARE so much that the job is done to the highest standard !! Even though they are Porsche approved I found their prices very reasonable and the

Not very good at organisation. Left me hanging without picking my car up. Left hiring a vehicle longer than I needed it. As told it would be dropped off and it never was. Not once but 3 times. This was expensive being self-employed taking time off work. No follow-up calls when you chase them. I found out you were the ones chasing them all the time. Was very very frustrating. Always passing the book and not following it through. Terrible customer service.
The quality of the work on the repair side of the business was good. And of a high standard. Seriously the need to do some training on organisation
