Our beach-front park is ideally set in one of the most outstanding areas of natural beauty on Scotland's west coast. We have holiday caravans for hire and pitches for touring caravans, motor-homes and tents. Hot showers are free and there is only a small charge for the erection of an awning. There is a small grocers, post office and petrol station within a 3 minute walk from the site.
We also have supplies of Calor Gas available. Pets are welcome but are not allowed in any of our letting holiday caravans (apart from Guide Dogs). Dogs are of course allowed on the beach but we would be grateful if you could clean up after them so we can keep the beautiful beach clean for families and children to enjoy.

Services
A surfaced access road within the Park leads to grass and hard standing pitches for touring caravans and motor-homes, the majority of which are on the seafront. The camping areas are separate and each camping pitch has fencing which provides more privacy and shelter. Cars may also be parked adjacent to tents.
For that special evening out, the Park is close to some excellent restaurants and renowned local hostelries. Laide village store/post office (which also has a filling station) carries a wide range of provisions and hardware and is only 150 metres from the Park. See here for the Laide Post Office website.
Sea angling trips are available daily and may be booked from the pier at Gairloch harbour. You won't even need your own rod as all equipment is supplied for you. You're guaranteed to catch something!.
Sea fishing from the beach, rocks or from your own boat can yield good catches of mackerel, cod, pollack, saith and haddock whilst local lochs are well stocked with trout and may be fished for a modest daily fee (permits are on sale from the village shop).Water-sports such as sailing, water skiing, scuba diving and swimming are all possible from the Park provided you have your own boat.

Our first proper caravaning holiday with our old vinty caravan, Gruinard Bay was amazing. Great amount of space for caravan and awning. Child friendly/dog friendly and views were AMAZING. Perfectly situated for easy travel to surrounding places of interest. Wouldn't think twice of booking here again xx

A great spot especially for seeing seals. Right on beach, great for kayaking, rock pools etc. Pitfalls, pitches may be a little tight dependant on your pitch, several make for difficult awning arrangements. New shower and toilet block. We stayed a week, many arrive for overnights. Will def visit again.

A gorgeous location and we saw seals this morning. The Motorhome pitches are level with plenty of water points and bins.
Ignore and older reviews about dated facilities - they have invested in new toilet and shower blocks which are pristine, with plenty of hot water. There is also a Motorhome service point.

Our first time at Gruinard Bay and I'm so glad we came. Beautiful little site with gorgeous views and seals on the doorstep. Lovely owners and the site is well-kept with spotless facilities, including spacious free showers. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you're coming up the stunning West Coast, you won't be disappointed!!
