We are an independent business based in Little Oakley, Essex specialising in bespoke soft furnishings, made to measure blinds, and shutters. Having had a life long love of fabrics and interiors, Charlotte began to make curtains for own home and relatives. This skill developed over time into Charlotte Briscoe Interiors officially becoming a business in 2017.
Curtain making requires a vast amount of skill and dedication to learn the trade and this is an ongoing process, Charlotte has attended formal training in Professional Curtain Making & Soft Furnishings and continues to update skills and knowledge on a regular basis. We work as a family run business from a workshop at home, this has enabled the business to thrive whilst running a busy home and bringing up a small child.

We offer a professional and personal service to support you through the process of choosing, sourcing and advising suitable fabrics and soft furnishings for your home.
Investing in bespoke curtains and blinds can feel like a daunting process, there are so many features to consider and we aim to answer some of your questions below. We are on hand if you would like to discuss your project or your question is not listed below. The average time for delivery is 4-6 weeks, this is from receiving the fabric into the workshop.

Bronze is our starting price for handmade curtains, the classic pencil pleat curtain design takes its name from the way the pleats form and resemble a line of pencils standing in a row. This includes a hand sewn set of pencil pleat curtains with premium lining and a plain fabric in our starting price range.
