Very disappointed in our Christmas delivery, order was wrong and very expensive for what it was. Turkey was so thinly sliced it broke into tiny bits impossible to heat up in slices. Second year in a row it’s not been great so won’t be a third. Have queried friends and they’re not happy either. We’ve always done Christmas with this butchers and it’s been great in previous years.

My family and I were really dissappointed with our recent pies and potted meat. I was born and lived in Arbroath so every time myself or my family are visiting we buy a fair amount to share. I am so sorry to say that the quantity and Quality of the meat inside these pies was not up to the standard we expected the gravy was nice but the meat was chewy , grisly and resembled dog food. The potted meat had a lot of fatty bits in it as well.
I can say that the Steak pie which I bought at the same time was delicious with Quality meat in it good puff pastry no complaints at all with that.

I was born and bred in Arbroath, then moved to Edinburgh when I was young. I always missed Flemings for their magnificent steak pies and in fact some of my family brought me 21 glorious pies as my 21st birthday gift! I was overjoyed to find that they were available through an outlet in Edinburgh, but utterly destroyed to find that my well-remembered pies were filled with gristle and the pastry just was not right. I now suspect that they weren't being made by Flemings at all, as on a recent visit to Arbroath, I made a point of popping in to the West Port shop to give them another chance. Pure
