Pilkington Marine Engineering Ltd was founded in 1966. Since this time the company has steadily grown and with it a reputation for quality and marine and industrial engineering knowledge. In the late nineties the company became a limited company, and was made a main service support centre for MAN Marine & Industrial Engines.
We can bring our extensive knowledge the optimum maintenance of engines to ensure maximum performance. Our engineers are all MAN factory trained in Nuremburg, Germany, and work within MAN specifications to ensure these technologically advanced engines are maintained to the highest levels.
Each yacht is assessed on the individual requirements of the boat and owner and once careful discussions and estimates have been agreed, our engineer will visit at a time to suit you.Once the requested work is complete, our engineer will make a short video of their work and advisory notes for future maintenance, which will then be forwarded to you.

PME Group and MAN offer a wide range of high-speed four stroke marine diesel engines for use in commercial vessels. For heavy operation - with unlimited operating hours and working up to 100% full load - such as for tugboats and other working vessels, we provide a range of outputs from 190 kW to 735 kW (258hp to 1000hp).
Our client list includes Princess Yachts PLC, Sunseeker Intl, Fairline Boats and Pearl Yachts. We provide bespoke engine packages to the client's specification with support throughout the process of installation to commissioning. For yachts and pleasure craft in the classes from 40 to 80 feet MAN offers powers ranging from 730 to 1900hp.
