Market Sense
Marketing from the heart of Cumbria, Tracey Errington (that's me) began Market Sense over a decade ago. Helping businesses make the most of their assets, we follow a practical, common sense approach to marketing. Our aim? To help you make the most of your marketing opportunities. You won't find lots of stuffy strategic documents, no long-term 5 year plans - just a realistic marketing plan for your future - one that can be achieved.

The proof is in the pudding - so why not read some of our jobs done? Expect dedication, inspiring ideas as well as efficient implementation and value for money. Food is something I love, so couldn't pass up the opportunity to go to Harrogate Fine Foo.
Services
Born and bred a Cumbrian Farmer's daughter, Tracey Errington is a down to earth practical sort of girl, with bags of common sense and over a quarter of a century experience in marketing. After milking cows and lambing sheep I studied for a degree in Marketing and Behaviour in Organisations - and became inspired by marketing.
It's over eight years since I started providing marketing consultancy to clients of WCDA (now part of Britain's Energy Coast - BEC). The range of businesses varies from engineering and nuclear, to confectioners, fishmongers and play centres. The brief: Provide marketing and PR support to small businesses in the early years of trading, or trying to enter the supply chain network.
Market Sense was initially contracted by West Cumbria Development Agency to provide specialist marketing support to Westlakes Engineering Limited (WEL) who were about to celebrate their fifth birthday. Keen to expand into the lucrative nuclear market. Market Sense now works directly with WEL to grow their nuclear reputation.
Market Sense was asked to provide specialist marketing support to the infant business 'Carvetii Coffee Roasters'. Contracted by Britain's Energy Coast the brief was to increase market awareness of this fledgling coffee specialist who aims to bring great coffee to Cumbria. They were looking to attract wholesale customers in the premium coffee market and grow their on-line presence.
Initially working with Eden Graphics to create a brand called Natures Nest, I now worked directly with the Lakes Free Range Egg Company on all their brands including the Lakes brand and more recently 'Laid With Love'. Seven years! I'm itching to see what is in store next. Market Sense works across the marketing spectrum - everything from brand development, packaging, PR, marketing planning and photography.
