Facilities Report

Glentress Forest Lodge timber frame Pods are arranged in small clusters with vehicle access to each area. Available to rent on per night basis our Pods can sleep 3 people in comfort and up to 5 people if required. The Pods are the ultimate in camping cabins: ideal low cost accommodation units on the doorstep of Glentress Forest and a great alternative to camping under canvas.

Love riding the trails then riding down to the forest lodges, everything you need on site, hot showers, drying room, cooking facilities, then up the next day for more riding.

Fab place, good camping facilities and great value ! Right on the doorstep to Glentress Mtb trails and also walking trails. You could walk or cycle into Peebles, although the walk along the road is not pleasant....there is an alternative alone the river but a little longer. Car parks very cheap in Peebles though. I stayed in my van, but the camping pods looked cosy and warm!.

Brilliant friendly staff, answered my questions promptly and the views were spectacular!
Very accomodating with showers, kitchen space and toilets located by the reception (the lodges have no plumbing but a fridge for keeping the beverages cold!)

We’ve had a fantastic time in your Pod, we’ll definitely be returning!!!! We enjoyed our stay in the “Cherry” Pod, it was nice and super cosy (heated) and we made most of the fantastic facilities- warm and clean showers after days of family mountain biking. Thank you 😊

Absolutely fab, basic comfortable accommodation. The Pods are toastie warm. There's showers, kitchen, dish washing, toilets & a drying room in the amenities block. Best of all being onsite at the Glentress Trail Centre, you get to be first on the trails!

Great place to camp, pitch a caravan, camper, motorhome or hire a pod for mountain biking at Glentress. Couldn't be closer to the trails. Clean and hot showers, drying room for wet and muddy gear, free wifi, unorthodox black waste emptying but at least it has one, no grey waste point though, ehu and water, easy access to town (Peebles), loads of walks locally. Fabulous stay for four nights in Oct! 😁🍂🍁🤙

Beautiful and peaceful setting. Shower and toilet blocks are well taken care of and very clean. We camped in motorhome and it was great. Lodges looked brilliant. Would recommend anytime.

Stayed here for two nights, used as a base to do the mtb trails from.
Had an amazing weekend, facilities were good. No problems whatsoever.

Had a 3 night stay here earlier in the week, clean pods, toilet and shower facilities very clean 👌. Great location, fantastic for accessing glentress MTB trails and not to far from Peebles. Will 100% be back.
