With the arrival of new wheelie bin system implemented by the local council this client needed a smart and stylish solution to hid 3 wheelie bins, a stroller and kids scooter! The client wanted to upgrade their existing classic stained glass door. As the door was in good condition it just required some renovation and the addition of wooden spindle detail above the door to smarten up the front of their property.

Chestnut Carpentry prides itself on quality. All pricing is honest and transparent. For a range of smaller jobs or an ongoing project a day rate might be more cost effective. A fixed price is often used for specific projects and installations. After a consultation the agreed works are detailed in a written quote to cover all labour and materials.

We used Rob to install cupboards in all of the bedrooms. His work was impeccable. He works very neatly and always tidied up at the end of the day. He workmanship and attention to detail was meticulous and we could not be happier with the finished product. Highly recommend!

Rob was the consummate professional and helped enormously with the remodel of our bathroom. We wanted a high end finish to our bath surround and cupboard.
Rob took the time to come to our place, check out the proposed layout and explained to us the right approach and materials for our needs.
He worked around existing tradesman to deliver something truly bespoke and high quality.
What was even better is we didn’t blow the budget and achieved a high end outcome without going wild.

Highly recommend - Rob and Martin were a pleasure to deal with. Always tried to make your ideas come to life and helped advise what would work best in practice. Built fitted window seat, tv cabinet, console table, bar and wardrobe... when this was all finished I found more work which is currently being quoted for!
