We had the most wonderful wedding celebrations at Chesil House this bank holiday. It was perfect in everyway and captured the true ambiance of Winchester, as the venue is positioned along the river. The celebrations were held in the extensive gardens and my daughters greatest wish was to marry outdoors, something that Charlotte and her team arranged perfectly. The venue is superb and offers sole use .

We had our wedding here recently - it is the most stunning location for a small intimate wedding, the gardens and rooms are beautiful and peaceful and it has a lovely calm atmosphere. The team were so helpful and worked so hard to navigate round the changing covid restrictions - it was beyond our wildest expectations. Thank you!

I said “goodbye” to my godmother today at Chesil House. She had no family so it was just three of us there, myself, my mum and my son. I have to say it was the most beautiful and sympathetic funeral I have ever been to and in the most perfect, peaceful surroundings. Thank you for giving her the send off she deserved, absolutely perfect.

Wow, what a wedding venue! Chesil House recently hosted our wedding, following a very last minute booking with only 6 weeks to plan. The venue itself is just stunning, with amazing views over the river and gorgeous private gardens which provide beautiful backdrops for photos.
Karen and the team could not do more for us, during the planning stage and the actual day they ensured our wedding was just perfect.
This is an exclusive hire venue, in a gorgeous location in central Winchester, and we would highly recommend it as a wedding venue.

Chesil House is nothing short of Beautiful and Stunning. Here behind the busy town of Winchester sits a Modern house full of charm and character. The Gardens are Beautifully kept and it is always a dream to walk through and spend moments of time to reflect.
The staff are friendly and professional. I would never question using Chesil House for functions. I could not recommend them enough.

Chesil House was an outstanding venue to mark an auspicious family occasion. The quality and style of the interior decoration, together with the ability to use the veranda overlooking the beautifully maintained garden and flowing water made it magical. Kris and the staff were first class and could not have been more helpful. The catering provided by The Little Kitchen Company was of an equally exceptional standard. Quite simply outstanding!

From the moment we stepped into Chesil House we knew this was the perfect setting for our Mother's funeral. Phil and Kris guided us gently through the process of arranging the service and that attention to detail made the ceremony in the Chapel just perfect and one we shall treasure. We then moved into the Gathering Room with beautiful views from the veranda onto the gardens and river below. The Little Kitchen company served us lunch whilst a discrete visual tribute reminded us all of many happy memories of a wonderful lady. Our sincere thanks to everyone who made this difficult day so special
