Neil Shakespeare, founder of Shakespeare Engineering International. Neil established the business in 1986 and 30 years on he maintains the complete 'hands on' approach to all aspects that he has always had. Neil has a keen interest in motorbikes and is a regular out on the roads of Essex. Andy Mair joined our company in 1999, experienced in Sales and operational Management.
He has successfully implemented new businesses within the group, developed techniques with management teams and structural improvements. A pro-active, can do individual, who uses analytical skills and metrics to measure progress, improve performance drive the businesses forward. In his spare time Andy is a keen cyclist.

Investing in the future is a huge focus to Shakespeare Engineering, and the best way that we can achieve this is by investing in youth apprentice schemes, developing individuals within the industry of engineering. As a company we currently have 15 apprentices, working at multiple levels and skills within the business.
At Shakespeare Engineering, CNC Machining is at the heart of our business. With our in-house capacity of over 100 machines, (8 of which are 5 axis), we can machine very complex parts to the tightest tolerances, in a wide range of materials. These include OFHC Copper, Inconel, Titanium, Super Duplex, Nickel Iron, Monel, Molybdenum and Beryllium Copper as well as more conventional materials such as Stainless Steels, Mild Steel & Aluminium.
At Shakespeare Engineering's Press Shop facility we are ideally setup for high precision, high-quality pressing, utilising an extensive range of tooling from hand controlled fly presses, 75 tonne presses, laser or water jet cutting and CNC spinning. We specialise in deep drawing/wall ironing of a variety of materials such as Molybdenum, Nickel, Nickel Alloy, Copper, Brass, Stainless Steel, Aluminium and much more.
