Easthope Stained Glass Studios
Easthope Stained Glass is a family firm of stained glass specialists. We work closely with private domestic clients and home owners, architects, school bursars and church wardens, facilities managers and buildings managers, building companies, contractors and quantity surveyors. We are fully independent, and are on the recognised list of contractors of a large number of industry businesses and bodies.

Nick has lectured on the topic of stained glass and as one of very few stained glass craftspeople in the country, Nick has the pleasure of working on a range of restoration, conservation and private commissions. His portfolio includes churches, abbey, cathedrals, local schools, stately homes and private houses.
Services
Situated in the heart of Folkestone's creative quarter, our team of specialist stained glass craftsmen provide a range of services from the design and creation of new commissions, smaller domestic repairs to full scale restoration and conservation projects. We undertake work throughout the UK and take immense pride in our studio using traditional methods and materials, completing our projects to the highest possible standards.
A piece of bespoke stained glass is an affordable way to bring this most magical form of art into your home or space. Listening to you and capturing your ideas, the studio will work with you to create a design which reflects your taste and vision, using colours, textures and motifs which you will love to look at every day.
Britain has a rich architectural heritage, and the history of stained glass is entwined with that of our stately homes, churches, abbeys, cathedrals and public buildings. Stained glass combines fine art, design, architecture, craft, worship, decoration and history.

It is only through the proper conservation of our existing stained glass that we can hope to preserve the art form so it continues to illuminate Britain's buildings for centuries to come.Nick Easthope is one of a handful of specialist stained glass craftsmen with the training, experience, passion and knowledge levels to conserve stained glass windows, doors and works of art.
The level of conservator intervention is based on a case by case project. An essential skill in the restoration and conservation of stained glass is to consider all components within a window, address areas of concern, evaluate and make a clear, justifiable decision.

With over 60 years of experience within our business, working on countless projects which include, castles, churches, stately homes and cathedrals, giving our team a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of stained glass and its guiding principles. We're always happy to offer advice and welcome any opportunity to discuss any restoration project you have in mind.
To retain the beauty and prevent valuable stained glass windows from being damaged, it is essential they are protected, giving you peace of mind knowing that future generations will still be able to enjoy your beautiful stained glass windows. Stainless steel mesh guards with a black powder coated finish.

We wanted a small "sunburst" stained glass window to fit into a precut opening in a wooden garden gate. Edward visited, took measurements, and made up exactly the window we wanted. Very pleased with his courteous and professional approach.

Edward did a fantastic job replacing our cracked Victorian roundel. It looks just like the original and I would definitely recommend his services.

Mr Easthope came and fitted a magnificent piece to my mothers front door. He was very professional, very approachable, he took a real interest in the family and came up with some fantastic ideas. My mother has two grandchildren called Ruby & Lily. See picture below. Mother is absolutely thrilled. Thank you again Easthope Stained Glass
