Trevor Oakey began training as mechanic in the late 60s. He met his wife Mary in 1972 who was working and studying accounting and economics at Witney College. He set up on his own as a mobile mechanic in 1977. In 1984 he and Mary built the workshop and established 'Oakey Vehicle Repairs'. In 2001 the business was registered as a limited company and became Oakey Automotive Services Ltd.
The MOT test takes around an hour to complete so we can offer you an appointment time and do it whilst you wait. If you would rather drop your car off and leave it with us; we can call you as soon as it's done and you can collect it later the same day.

We are authorised and approved by the Camping and Caravan club - members of their approved workshop scheme. We accidentally locked our car and house keys in our car, parked up at Morisons this week. After a phone call to Oakeys they magically appeared and helped us out of our dilemma. What lovely people and such a relief to get us going again.

Oakeys has been in business in the town for many years and this is testament in itself to the good service given by Mr Oakey and his staff. I have always found Oakeys to be fair in thier charges and have always been pleased with the work done. They also for a very small fee provide a loan car whilst they work on your own - a very good idea and much appreciated by those of us who just have to get to work depiste car trouble.
