Trenance Holiday Park
From a sleepy fishing village centred around the harbour, Newquay has grown to be one of the 'must stay' destinations, capitalising on the beautiful beaches and coastline that provides some of the finest surfing in Europe. Ideally situated for exploring the rest of Cornwall no-where is too far away.
Services
Trenance Holiday Park was created by the Hoyte family and has been personally run by them now for 3 generations, during which time Newquay has grown into one of the top 5 most popular resorts in the UK.

This traditional Park lies close to the heart of Newquay, no other Park offers such a convenient location, situated as it is within the Trenance valley area of Newquay without doubt one the prettiest parts of the resort; beautiful award winning gardens and a boating lake within the surrounding 26 acre Leisure Park form an unrivalled setting.
For those visitors looking for more space than a caravan, our popular bungalow style cedar-wood Chalets are fully double-glazed to provide you with a comfortable holiday base. All Chalets are south facing with patio doors leading on to balconies to make the most of the sun, with parking beside each Chalet.
A comfortable lounge with heater and a dining area, patio doors lead onto a balcony that runs the full length of your Chalet. A well equipped kitchen and modern bathroom complete your holiday accommodation. Chalets have modern fully equipped kitchen facilities and appliances; electric cooker, microwave oven and fridge/freezer.
It's important to us that we offer facilities to suit all visitors; we have therefore adapted one of our Chalets to be wheelchair accessible. This Chalet has widened doorways, an enlarged bedroom with 2 single beds, (will push together) and a 4ft bed settee in the lounge, with a fully adapted large wet room bathroom with multiple rails and raised toilet and dual height washbasins.
Our Tolcarne Caravans are 28ft long and a comfortable 12ft wide which really gives you an airy and open feel, comes with 2 separate bedrooms and a pull-out 4ft bed in the lounge. A modern interior with many comforts such as heating throughout, 32 T.V/DVD player and picnic bench. Complete with modern kitchen facilities and appliances; a gas cooker, microwave and fridge with small freezer compartment.

It's an OK site I've stayed on much worse, we were pitched in amongst static caravans which was a bit unusual but it was OK, the toilet and shower facilities were a little dated and the cleaners could have spent a little longer in them. It is the closest touring site to Newquay this is why we chose it.

We have been to Newquay many times over 40+ years camping and caravanning but have never stopped at Trenance holiday park. I can't understand how I've missed it. This site, as so many reviewers have mentioned is so convenient for town and beaches and although it is a bit of a climb it did not present a problem (probably did me good). I booked this site early in the year and the whole process was done very professionally and thoroughly. Considering it was school holidays and demand was high I thought the cost of pitch was acceptable. Facilities were good, clean and any issues that arose ie. the

Really enjoying my time here. The only issue that I have is that it is on a hill so going to the beach by foot means going uphill but worth it and can hardly blame the holiday park for me being unfit.

Stayed for 1 night in one of the pods. Check in was at 2 and check out not until 12 so that was a pleasant surprise. The pod is basic but comfy, just two single beds with a small table, 2 plugs for gadgets a safe for valuables and a light. Happy to pay the £40 for the night as many campsite pitches for a tent are over £20 per night and takes out a lot of hassle for a short stay. There is a butty van on site so we could even get breakfast easily. The toilet facilities are clean however the showers are hit and miss. Some run cold and some just a dribble which is annoying as you use tokens to get

We absolutely loved staying at Trenance Holiday Park. So close to the town and the beach. As others say, it is a bit of a walk, but there was plenty of parking in the town if desired. Only reason I'm taking away a star is because when we arrived at the caravan the fridge was missing so we had to wait for a new one, but we got it within an hour. I'm not sure that the caravan had been cleaned thoroughly (vacuuming in particular). I also wish that check in time was earlier and check out and be a tad later. We had a nice time and the site was not too noisy. I would return again.
