At this practice we will continue to be in PPE and require all our patients to wear masksfor the safety of ourselves and our other patients. If you are unable to wear a mask we are happy to offer remote consultations.
The Street Physiotherapy Practice has been open since 1999. Beth Pearson, Sara Stobart and Angela Hughes are all highly skilled and very experienced Chartered Physiotherapists in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal pain and sport injuries. Services
Street Physiotherapy has been open since 1999 and is run by Beth Pearson, Sara Stobart and Angela Hughes. We are not prescriptive with our treatments; each persons individual needs are listened to carefully, assessed and then we explain what we believe is the cause of the problem. Treatment will often involve manual therapy, exercises and advice on how to improve and manage the condition themselves.
The practice is open from 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday. Appointments last for 40 minutes and are booked by phone on 01458 447285. If we do not answer please leave a message and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible. You do not need a doctor's referral to see us.
However if you are using Private Health Insurance please make sure you have a GP or consultant's referral before you start treatment, and have contacted your insurer who will give you a claim reference number which you should bring with you at your first appointment. We deal with most health insurance companies but there are some smaller ones that will not pay our fees, so please check first.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated self employed MSK physio to join our friendly team. The vacancy is permanent and would be for 16 hours per week - Mondays, Thursdays and Friday pm but can be negotiated.
Exercises are gentle and subtle and have found to be very helpful in the management of long standing problems - in particular low back pain. The exercises help to improve muscle strength around the spine, improving posture and body awareness. Sports people also find it helpful to prevent injury and enhance performance.
BACK AND NECK PAIN Manual Therapy (hands on) can be very useful in the acute stages of back and neck pain. Research has shown that more longstanding back and neck pain is best managed with an exercise based program. We may use a combination of both to help you reach the best possible outcome and enable you to manage your condition.
