Services
Delomosne has been trading in fine English Antiques since it was founded by Mrs Kate Perret in 1905. The unusual name [dell-o-mone] was the maiden name of her husbands' mother - it would not have done to have used her own name as her husband had no wish to be associated with "trade". Business first commenced in a tiny shop in Lincoln's Inn Fields in the heart of London in September of 1905.
We are happy to offer a valuations service for antique glass and porcelain within our fields of expertise. We can provide probate valuations, valuations for insurance purposes or family division and retrospective valuations for capital gains tax purposes. Valuations are charged on a percentage of total value plus out-of-pocket expenses such as mileage and accommodation where relevant.
When the shop is closed the answer machine can take telephone messages or you can email us on delomosne@delomosne.co.uk. The nearest station is Chippenham (Paddington 70 minutes), trains can be met by prior arrangement. We are situated just 10 minutes drive from the M4 being midway between junctions 17 and 18 of the motorway.
