What a lousy diner! There weren't any other cafes in the vicinity so lots of people end up here.Food was dry and tasteless.Staff were unhelpful, unfriendly, zero smiles and the one who served us had a face so long, her chin was dragging on the ground. The Dull Rocks Bar really need to find themselves a happier team of staff befitting its holiday location.Oh and the water in their bathrooms is not fit for drinking....reason not given on notice.

This place is in such a great location. We’ve mixed reviews as we grabbed a sandwich yesterday and it was really good but dinner tonight really disappointing. Seems like the dinner menu is just quick and easy basic chef food but the end result is pretty bad. Possibly the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had, bland and tasteless. Staff do seem a bit fed up really. Wasn’t busy at all but they seem rushed, very little customer interaction. We came pretty much the same time last year and they still seem to be running with the same restrictions which does seem odd now that things have been eased

Lovely pub with gorgeous views! You could not get closer to the beach and dunes! We have been visiting Gull Rocks for years during our stays in Holywell. The staff are so friendly and brilliant with my son's allergy. The staff are working particularly hard at the moment. The cakes hot chocolate and bbq food is great! See you in October!

Sat outside for a quick bite to eat seeing as we couldn't find a takeaway food option at Holywell. A bowl of chips were brought out and they were reasonably priced. However no condiments or cutlery were offered at all and the poor stuff were rushed, so off he darted without me being able to ask. The chips were tasteless without salt, vinegar or pepper so I then had to go into the pub to get some which involved a large queue. The bar staff then didn't know where any was and unfortunately that meant another few minutes wasted and the chips were then cold.

Had a lovely meal, food was delicious! Could only give 3 stars though due to the fact that none of the high chairs had straps! My baby would have just slid straight through the seat! According to the bar staff the straps have been stolen 🤷♀️ but its not safe for you to have the highchairs out for use, they should be removed before an accident happens!
