Established in 1992, GLW is a well established and respected provider of general fabrication to architects, structural engineers, business and private customers. This year we are celebrating 25 years in business. We specialise in custom build objects in metal, built to a very high standard in our modern workshop.
As a company, GLW is committed to being as energy-efficient as possible in our processes, and to conserve resources used in our in-house facility. Installation of movement sensors for secondary lighting to reduce unnecessary use of electricity. These simple measures have enabled us to save over 30% on our previous energy expenditure, as well as increasing operational efficiency - savings we have been happy to pass on to our customers.
GLW offers a complete service including design, advice, site survey if requested, highest quality fabrication, finishing and on-site installation if required. This allows you the most flexibility. If you wanted to you could simply send us your ideas or talk to one of our design team, agree the design and leave the rest to us, including installation!
GLW Engineering, March is pleased to offer Soda Blasting Services. Soda blasting can be used as a non-destructive method of cleaning, paint stripping, automotive restoration, industrial equipment maintenance, rust removal, graffiti removal, oil removal, masonry cleaning and restoration, boat hull cleaning and for food processing facilities and equipment.
At GLW Engineering, we fabricate bespoke handrails for ramps, walkways and interior and exterior staircases, for commercial, industrial and residential projects. As both safety and design features, handrails require the highest standards of engineering quality and finish to achieve the robust result demanded by our customers.

I contacted GLW Engineering initially to have an old metal cabinet refurbished so it could be used in our home. The piece had moved with us around the country and was in a bit of a state. We then decided to have our garden furniture re-vamped as well. Both pieces were collected without any hassle and Geoff brought along the colour charts so we could select without having to guess from online RAL charts. Geoff and his team did an excellent job on both items and duly returned them carefully wrapped. We are extremely pleased and I would highly recommend the company.

We had GLW Engineering spray our garden patio set as it was going rusty and also needed repairs, they have been excellent and our patio set looks like it did when we first brought it over 15 years ago, they came and took it away and also delivered it back to us. Geoff was so helpful and would recommend them to anyone wanting garden furniture restoring. Brilliant!

I contacted GLW Engineering looking for a frame to support a floating shelf which was holding the hand basin in our bathroom, it had started to come away from the wall. Geoff (White) asked for a rough drawing and sizes, from this he produced a drawing which we agreed. The service provided was quick. The delivery took 2 days from despatch. The item was well packaged and the support frame was exactly as required. I would highly recommend GLW Engineering for the service, quality and reasonable price.
