Located near Fishguard in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Gwaun Vale is the ideal setting for anyone who enjoys walking or just sitting and taking in the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding countryside. Gwaun Vale Caravan Park is family owned and situated at the start of the beautiful Cwm Gwaun, one and a half miles from Fishguard in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
The pitches have electric hook ups and are level with excellent views of the surrounding countryside. There is a small play area, a laundry, 2 sinks to wash dishes as well as toilets and free hot showers. Dogs are welcome and we have a separate area to exercise them. The park is small and friendly and is an excellent base to explore the area.

An absolute delight of a find. Stunning views, peaceful and a real gem.
Linda was so lovely and kind and helpful. We don't usually go to the same site more than once but I think we will make an exception for here.
It's just off the side of a road, but don't let that fool you as it's quiet and road traffic was not a problem when we were here.
There are plenty of showers and toilets, a freezer should to need it as well as washing machine and tumble dryer. Somewhere you can wash dishes too which can be a real chore in a camper van!
A great little park to entertain the children too.

We stayed here in a tent for 2 weeks - summer 2014 and had a fantastic time we used it as a base for exploring different beaches walking parts of the coastal paths etc. We thoroughly enjoyed the view point at strumble head and enjoyed seeing the Stena Line coming in from Rosslare to Fishguard.
We returned with our Caravan summer of 2015 and had no problem at all with regards to the access and we have a twin axel caravan. We had a lovely stay again for our 2 week holiday visiting local attractions St Davids Cathedral, Newport Beach, Castell Henllys and we went Pony trekking. The owners are lovely

We recently stayed here in our caravan and had a lovely stay. The children enjoyed the small play area and I enjoyed the beautiful gardens and flowers. It was a fantastic campsite which we used as a base to see the area. We had lots of trips to differnet local beaches, we went to strumble head and saw the seals. We also went to St Davids Cathedral. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend. I will say I am a bit puzzled by a previous review as it is possible to see the sea from the campsite - we saw the ferry coming in from Ireland and we had no problems with our caravan on the site.
