Chiropractic is a primary health care profession that specialised in the diagnosis, treatment, management and prevention of skeletal conditions that occur as a result of mechanical dysfunction of the joints and muscles within the body. In the UK all chiropractors undergo a minimum of four years training, which must be updated yearly, and are registered and regulated by the General Chiropractic Council.
The McTimoney Chiropractic Technique was developed over 50 years ago by the late John McTimoney. It is a gentle and effective whole-body treatment, (the bones are never forced) which uses precise, low force adjustments to help realign and rebalance the body, helping to increase mobility, relieving pain and discomfort, and allowing the nervous system to work more efficiently.

I have been receiving treatment from Lisa at Atlas McTimoney for a few years now, and have always found her highly professional, as well as friendly and effective. She is a joy to deal with. I have tried other chiropractors more local to me, but have always gone back to Lisa. She is the best, and I cannot recommend her warmly enough.
