Bluestone Paving is a family run business based in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. We specialize in the design and installation of block paving (including driveways and patios) and decking. The business was founded in 2010 by Simon Ferrari a driveway and paving installer with over 23 years of hands-on experience in the landscaping industry.
All works are undertaken by our team of experienced tradesmen and finished to the highest standards. We have included some examples in our galleries and more are available on request. Services
Historically block (or brick) paving has been used the world over in areas of high footfall - and for good reason. Block pavers are hard warring and requiring very little maintenance, making them excellent for driveways and patios. Available in a wide range of finishes, pavers can be laid in decorative patterns, stepped and edged to create the desired look.
While many of the construction methods are similar, patios are typically considered to be more decorative than driveways and are often part of a larger garden design. Patio construction materials come in a wide variety of shapes, colours and finishes, and can be tailored to suite.
We are a Stonemarket approved installer and are on the Marshalls register, so we tend to use these products, however do use other manufacturers such as Brett and Bradstone.By far the most popular for patios is block pavers, however we also lay natural stone, concrete flagstones and porcelain paving.

We install a wide range of fencing for clients in Bury St Edmunds and throughout Suffolk. From traditional close boarded and panelled fences to more decorative designs. We use high quality timber (including kiln dried posts and pressure treated panelling), concrete and composite materials as required.

We have just had a new patio designed and installed by Simon and Dave. We are really pleased with the transformation of our back garden. The service was excellent from Starr to finish snd Simon and Dave were a pleasure to have around. We highly recommend them and are planning to have our front driveway block paved next year. An outstanding team who pulled out all of the stops to ensure we got the terrace we wanted. Simon is a pleasure to do business with and I cannot praise him enough. I will be using Bluestone Paving again that's for sure! I'm not sure what the reviewer who posted 1* is doing - just because she tried a couple of times and went to voicemail does not mean it deserves one star - more its indicative of a busy business. If you want guaranteed quality at a very reasonable price with no issues or last minute changes or hassles then simply talk to Simon and see what he can do to help you.

I was extremely satisfied with the work that Simon carried out on my garden, it was exactly what I had asked for. The work was carried out efficiently and I was impressed how tidy everything was left at the end of each day. I would definitely recommend Simon and his team and would have no hesitation in using them in the future.
