We provide healthy balanced meals for all children, whether they're funded or paying privately. We deliver a personalised learning experience for all children, and monitor progress against EYFS guidelines. It's vital for children to spend time outdoors, and we have a large garden as well as trips to the beach and park.
We use an app called Famly to keep parents informed during the day. We send you a morning and afternoon update with photos (if you give us permission) on what your children have been doing. We also let you know what and how much they ate, and when they have naps or nappy changes. Find out about our balanced, healthy and kid-friendly menu with meals and snacks spread through the day.

Services
With a mixture of fruit and vegetables at meal and snacktime, including some hidden vegetables in main meals. Meals are prepared and cooked in our own kitchen at the nursery, by our lovely Nursery Cook. We have a nutritious and child-friendly menu, including a variety of meat and fish, different fruit & vegetables and carbohydrates across every 2 weeks.
The curriculum and learning framework at Little Holland Nursery is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and the Development Matters framework. Across the 7 Areas of Learning and Development, we help children to work towards and achieve age-appropriate goals and abilities. Staff in each room ensure that there are activities for each area of learning and development every day.
Going on trips is a big part of the nursery experience, allowing children to get outside, experience more of the world, and practice things like crossing roads safely with an adult. We take regular trips to the beach, park and library all of which are within a short walking distance. We also have ad-hoc trips such as nature walks or visits to shops and local sites to complement other activities that the staff are running.
We offer 15-hour and 30-hour funded places. The Government calculate that funding based on 38 weeks per year, but most families choose to spread the funding through the year. This works out at 11 hours a week for 15-hour funding, and 22 hours a week for 30-hour funding. Some 3-year-olds are eligible for 30-hour funding, based on whether their parents or carers both work, earn more than 569 per month and less than 100,000 per year.

Thought I'd take the time and wrote a review as to how much our son loves it here. The girls in the room are so good with him and being so young we were worried that he wouldn't settle well. we needn't have! The updates you get throughout the day via the app and the ability to message the team in the room is an added bonus. Keep up the great work!

Our little boy has been attending one day a week for the last few months. We were very worried about him going into a nursery to be honest and others we looked at locally just felt quite ‘cold’ and like the people were just doing their job. As soon as we walked into Little Holland Nursery, it had a completely different feel to it. All of the staff are lovely and welcoming and it felt more like a home from home. The staff in the Teeny Weenies room have been absolutely amazing in helping him settle in so quickly, they genuinely seem to care and he has really come on leaps and bounds since starting

Both of my children have attended this nursery and really enjoyed themselves. The staff were friendly and really invested in the progress my children made. There were a number of changes that took place and there were new owners, which didn't impact on the quality of care and education. A number of improvements have been and continue to be made. Excellent overall.
