GPS Marine has the only backhoe and plough dredging spreads based in the Rivers Thames and Medway. GPS Marine routinely carried out capital and maintenance dredging in harbours and rivers in the South East UK. Dredging activities are supported by the in house fleet of tugs, elevator (dry well) hopper barges and towed split barges with remotely operated splitting operation.

GPS Marine's tugs and multicats generally operate throughout the UK Extended European Trading area which extends from the Baltic and Norwegian Coast to Dakar and throughout the Mediterranean and Black Seas.
GPS Marine's Marine Civil Engineering and Construction Division will undertake contracts throughout the UK from its bases on the Thames and Medway. The division specializes in piling, cofferdam construction and removal, jetty construction and repair as well as the demolition and removal of marine structures.
