My name is Bruce and I am responsible for Instructor Training in Scotland. I head up the tutor team in Scotland and am based in Renfrewshire although we have experienced LDC instructor training coaches throughout Scotland and indeed the rest of the UK. No other driver training organisation has a business and training package to rival the quality and professionalism of LDC.

It is this quality and professionalism that has generated, and continues to generate LDCs' success. You could be part of that success and share in the rewards that come from serving the needs of customers at the top end of the driver training market. Of course, if you want to put more effort in and work longer hours, your rewards can be substantially higher.
Services
Hi I'm Bruce, I am a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and I am passionate about road safety. I became a driving instructor because I wanted a job with real satisfaction and there is nothing better than seeing someone pass their test first time. I was also always being told by friends and work colleagues that I was a calm and relaxed type of person and that I would make a great Driving Instructor.
I trained with Bruce to become a trainer of instructors and would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to become who is looking to get into this industry. Bruce's easy going and nature and sense of humour made the sessions so much better than I had envisaged. Bruce's knowledge of and experience of training Instructors helped make it a pleasure although it might not have seemed that way to him from me.
LDC is renowned for its open learning course materials, our excellent central support team and our national network of expert LDC instructor training coaches/mentors. LDC provide a comprehensive open learning course that integrates with the practical coaching and mentoring provided. Available for study as an iCourse on our online learning Hub as well as in hard copy form shown below.
Learner Driving Centre (LDC) is an ELCas (Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme) training provider (number 3393). You can use your ELCAS credits to become a driving instructor using our standard course option. Visit Cost of training for more details. We decided to become an ELC provider because of the many positive attributes former Armed Forces personnel have to offer.
The majority or driving instructors in the UK are self-employed and we believe that we offer the most competitive and appealing franchise in the market today. You only have to compare our weekly franchise fee with those of the AA, BSM, Red or Bill Plant etc., to appreciate why you could earn up to 5,000 more per year with us from the difference in franchise fees alone.
