With over 40 years experience, we are a family owned business that use our creativity, ingenuity and widely gained knowledge to produce staircases and doors, that are limited only by your imagination, throughout the United Kingdom. Our company offers a wide variety of traditional staircase configurations including: traditional close and cut string, open rise, spiral and helical staircases. The product range varies with many standard designs and patterns to choose from, although we can also accommodate any chosen design to suit your application and needs.
The closed string staircase, unlike the cut string Staircase, does not show the treads from the side. It can be made by using Softwood treads and Plywood or MDF risers for full carpeting and painting with either softwood or hardwood balustrade or a combination of both. Alternatively it can be manufactured completely in hardwood and to be polished with a finish of your choice.
The company specialises in bespoke and traditional Cut String Staircases. With this type of stairs the tread is visible from the side elevation. A selection of brackets, handrails and mouldings are also available to complement your chosen design. It can either be constructed with a solid riser or an open riser to give an increased feeling of space.
Our skilled craftsmen build each stair using the finest quality hardwoods and construct each stairway with a passion for quality. The result is simple: a spectacular stair built to your specific needs and perfect in every way. The Helical Staircase or Curved Staircase is the design most suited for large entrance halls.
