When you first visit Hair of the Dog Groomers in Devon a full discussion with the owner on how they would like there dog cut is undertaken and plenty of advice is given if you are not sure of how they should look. Firstly all dogs are given a full groom with the removal of knots, then they are given a nice warm shower in the bath.
All dogs coats are shampooed and conditioned complete with a deep massage, after this they are blown dry, often a relaxing time for them and some dogs take this chance to drop off for 40 winks! Coats are then professionally styled to a high standard, they are then polished off and nails are cut if required.

Hair of the dog groomers is a professional established dog grooming business which was opened by Denise Jones in 2005. Recently Denise moved house to Combe Martin Ilfracombe in North Devon, and is opening her new salon in the village in February, where she is looking forward to welcoming new friends both dogs and their owners from the village and surrounding areas.
For a price on grooming your dog please give me a ring or a text with details of your dog and I will give you a set price with no add on's like some groomers do when you come to collect your dog, the only exception to this is if your dog is so badly matted and it takes me extra time but I will inform you of this before I start grooming, with prices ranging from 20.00 to 50.00 it's hard to give an exact price list.
I first took Pip to Denise two and a half years ago pretty much when she opened, and I can honestly say I was surprised as to how much of an enjoyable experience Pip had whilst in Denise's care. When I picked her up not only did she look fantastic, but to be honest she really did not want to come back with me having had such a great time.
