TelXL's head offices are based in the Midlands at the heart of the UK. Our address is Unit 3, Centech Park, Fringe Meadow Road, Moons Moat North Industrial Estate, Redditch, Worcestershire, England, B98 9NR. Our multi-site network is spread across the country with customers utilising our services from all reaches on both a national and international scale.
As a reseller of telecommunications services, you will no doubt have seen other service providers' product ranges. Every telco offers the same basic services such as NTS (simple number translation) and most offer some kind of online call statistics. TelXL offers these basic services, but then builds on them to offer a whole range of powerful solutions.
When you make a phone call, the cost of the call is determined by the type of phone number you call. It can range from nothing at all on freephone 0800 numbers through to 1.50 per minute on certain premium rate numbers starting 090. Exactly how much each call costs depends on who bills you, which could be BT, a mobile company or another provider such as Virgin or even Skype.
Call routing is what telephony is all about. When someone dials a phone number on one telephone they generally expect the call to pass down various wires and, without having to understand how, end up on another telephone. What we provide is part of that bit in the middle. The most basic form of call routing is called number translation.
TelXL's bespoke IVR is the jewel in the crown of our IVR services as it allows our resellers and even customers to configure an IVR service to do pretty much anything they want. Buy a product and process credit cards (we have a complete in-house credit card solution). The list really does go on for quite a while, and includes pretty much all of the functionality described on other pages of this web site.
