There are some special occasions when only the best will do. From bespoke weddings, to corporate events, to intimate parties, we can offer a no compromise dining experience to suit your every need. Scott Davis has been taught by the best: Marco Pierre White, Nobu, Gordon Ramsey, Gary Rhodes and Jean Gorges in New York.
Bethan began working with Strawberry Shortcake early 2016. It wasn't long before Kirsty handed over the responsibility of running her first wedding. With her excellent organisation and people skills Bethan ensures the whole day runs smoothly with ease and confidence. Phoebe is the newest member to out team.
Strawberry Shortcake is not just about fantastic food! After years of experience organising weddings and co-ordinating events throughout the world, we can provide stress-free, affordable glamour for your wedding day. We can help to arrange the finest catering, venues, marquees, licensed bars, unique flower arrangements, photography, cars, live music and cakes.
In 2013, Scott did a talk at the DO Lectures in Wales about the dark art of running a small gourmet food business in Wales. Scott Davis is Executive Chef and MD at Strawberry Shortcake, a bespoke catering company in West Wales. He has worked with some of the best 12 chefs in the world. Other things I look back to as a child were the hours my father would spend fishing on the Gwilly River where we lived.
Strawberry Shortcake Dining understands what it takes to deliver a range of events, from corporate dinners, receptions, launches and in house parties, to the highest standards. We produce stylish events which reflect our clients brand, whilst serving delicious, locally sourced, and thoughtful dishes.

Strawberry Shortcake catered our wedding in November and the food was incredible. We have had so many positive comments from our guests, most saying that it was some of the best wedding food that they had had. Everything that the team did for us, from arranging a tasting, choosing our menu and arranging alternatives for guests with dietary requirements was first class and we can't recommend them enough. Thank you so much to Gwenno, Scott and the team for making our day so special.

We were delighted to be recommended Strawberry Shortcake for our wedding in Pembrokshire; it truly exceeded our expectations.
Scott is clearly a very talented chef, who with his team, put together and made an exceptional bespoke menu which both us and our guests enjoyed immensely. 1 month on, guests are still talking about how incredible the food was!
In addition, Gwenno completely accommodated and managed all the numerous aspects needed for the big day (set up, equipment hire etc), which ensured everything ran smoothly. Scott, Gwenno & the serving team were all very professional & friendly.

Strawberry Shortcake catered for our wedding in July 2021, the food itself was incredible, the staff on the day were highly professional & efficient, and both Scott and Gwenno were so helpful when planning and organising the catering for our day! (more detail below)
The canapes were so unique and visually impressive, they looked really classy. The wedding breakfast was served directly to each guest without some of the confusion you sometimes get at weddings - who ordered what etc.. All the courses were of a good size and tasted amazing! We opted for the plated meals as there was still some uncertainty

We used Strawberry Shortcake to cater for our wedding in early September. From start to finish, we couldn't fault them and would highly recommend the team.
In advance of the wedding, Gwenno and Scott were an absolute pleasure to deal with, responding promptly to all emails and providing some fantastic recommendations for our menu. When our original wedding was postponed from April due to Covid, the team took it in their stride and were extremely helpful and adaptable.

My husband and I chose Strawberry Shortcake for our wedding and we were beyond pleased. Everything about their service from the choice of food, flexibility in the menu, communication, to the food and service on the day itself was fantastic.
We also chose them for a BBQ that we hosted the day after our wedding and the food for this event was equally as fantastic. The recurring comment that we had from every one of our guests was how amazing the food was. They're a true joy to deal with and we couldn't recommend them enough!

I have used Strawberry Shortcake Dining many times, and could not think of anyone else to use when hosting parties. They've hosted two weddings to name a few.
The food is simply delicious!
The staff are great, full of enthusiasm and are professional at all times. As a bespoke company, they will develop a menu based on your requirements. Scott also is excellent at recommending new and exciting dishes which are always a crowd pleaser.

We had a fantastic experience with SS on our wedding day. They were really organised and well prepared...everything ran smoothly and the food was outstanding.
Scott was brilliant at helping us articulate what we wanted from the menu and the whole team were positive, friendly and very well run. Kirsty was always a phone call or email away from solving any problems or answering any queries we had... all in all I couldn't recommend a better caterer.
We have also been to several weddings/events since our own wedding where SS have catered... again the food has always been delicious and operations

The Strawberry Shortcake team was brilliant from the very start. They listened to our food ideas and put forward some incredible menu options, and throughout preparation for the wedding they put us at ease. The day itself was seamless, and the team were amazingly professional, patient, and attentive. The food was tastier than we could have imagined, and the on-site staff went the extra mile to make sure the day ran smoothly. 10/10 for everything!
