Services
Our specialist garage has capacity for a variety of vehicles including cars and large commercial vehicles. Whether your car requires a scheduled servicing or one-off repairs, our mechanics are here to help. We have a wealth of experience in repairing brakes, clutches, engines and exhausts. Full diagnostic tests are also undertaken.
Your brakes are probably the most important part of your car. If your car is having a braking problem, whether it's weak brakes, a mushy pedal, grinding sounds - whatever your brake problem is, you need to troubleshoot and repair it as soon as possible. Even though your brakes operate in a closed system, contaminants can still work there way into the system.
A snapped cambelt can result in engine head dismantling and valve replacement, with labour and materials often costing hundreds of pounds. Your timing belt, also known as the cambelt, allows the engine crankshaft to turn the camshaft which controls the opening and closing of the engine's valves.
The valves open and close allowing fuel to enter, ignite, and exhaust, thus the valves are a primary part of controlling the flow of fuel and exhaust gasses through the engine. The cambelt allows all this to happen and an engine cannot run without it. In some engines, the timing belt may also be used to drive other engine parts such as the water pump and oil pump.

No clutch will last forever. The facings on the clutch disc wear as the miles accumulate. The clutch pressure plate and flywheel can become scored, worn, warped or cracked from all the heat and friction generated by the clutch. A perfectly good clutch also can be ruined by oil contamination; the cable or hydraulic linkage can fail, or the release bearing, pilot bearing/bushing or fork can wear out and prevent the clutch from working properly.
The exhaust manifold acts as a funnel, collecting the exhaust gases from all cylinders of the engine then releasing them through a single opening, often referred to as the front pipe. Catalytic Converters (CAT's) are an integral part of a car's engine management system, not simply a part of the exhaust system.

Been getting the girlfriends car MOT and service done here for years. Unfortunately this is the first year the girlfriend has had to drop the car off and funnily enough its also the first year the car failed its MOT, due to "excessive play in the nearside track rod end ball joint" and an advisory for the pads wearing thin . As they had no availability to fix this quickly so i took it to another reputable garage who where shocked to see the MOT had been failed and advised me there was nothing wrong with the ball joint at all. I asked them to change it anyway as well as the brake pads as i needed
