The personal touch and neighbourly concern of the small office which first established the firm still very much inspires our wide range of services today.
Computer technology, specialist solicitors, law libraries and data base all bring those deep-rooted traditions to the demands of today. All this, of course, together with an enviable grasp of exactly what is needed by individuals, businesses, farmers, landowners, company directors, people considering their wills or moving home.

Quite apart from ensuring that your estate passes to persons whom you wish to benefit, there are a number of less obvious reasons for making a Will and we hope that reading these Notes will assist you in giving consideration to the contents of your own Will.
If you have not made a Will, there is the possible problem of the time, effect and delay that will be spent in endeavouring to ascertain whether you have made a Will and where it may have been deposited. This will involve enquiries of solicitors and banks and, of course, a search of your home, personal papers, etc. to discover whether a Will has been made.

Dilwyns grew up in the farming community of rural Wales. Ever since we were founded over 100 years ago, we have worked side by side with farmers and landowners as advisers and friends.
That, coupled with complete proficiency in modern legislation, makes us old hands at dealing with special issues - commons registration, sporting rights, succession to agricultural holdings, transfer of quotas, negotiating way leaves and devising tax and trust schemes to safeguard your farming business and to ensure its passing to the second generation.

Dilwyns have very patiently persevered with handling all aspects of my divorce. It has been a long process with both Gareth and Sam representing me in court in addition to dealing with the usual issues. I have very much appreciated their advice and guidance on all the aspects I have been through and would not hesitate to recommend them.

We use Dilwyns for all our legal advice regarding family matters and purchasing of properties. The service is excellent. Having worked with Sam Pitchford most recently regarding child care arrangements he was most helpful and really invested his time and knowledge to supported me through the situation giving legal advice and confidence along the way. Advice was given in a way which would be beneficial and on how not to occur unnecessary costs - something that you would not expect from solicitors. Would highly recommend. Diolch Dilwyns.
