Welcome to Hibbard Automotive Hibbard Automotive was founded in 1989 as an independent accident repair company by husband and wife partnership Andy and Carol Hibbard. Over the years, the company has expanded to become a medium-sized repairer, and in 1991 took the commercial decision to combine this service with mechanical repairs and in 1999 MOT testing.
The premises are located in the village of Thorncombe, bordering the counties of Dorset, Devon and Somerset. We now occupy a site in excess of 6 acres and we operate from covered secure premises of nearly 10,000 square feet with ample parking for many cars. Andy and Carol chose to retire in 2008 and although they remain partners their children and active business partners Shane and Tara now run the business.
