D J Evans Funeral Directors is a family owned business, established in 1948. The company was founded by David J Evans, his son Selwyn is now at the helm. Our offices are based in Aberystwyth, Penrhyncoch and Machynlleth and more recently we have incorporated W H Daniell Funeral Directors of Aberystwyth into our company as a result of Mr Harry Daniell's retirement.
Within 5 days, you should register the person's death, usually done at the Registry Office closest to the place of death. Registration is usually done by a relative, close friend, person present at time of death, or executor of the will. The Funeral Director cannot register the death. Most Registry Offices require you to make an appointment.
Over the years we have learned that just like no two persons are ever the same, no two funerals are ever the same.
