We are a company of experienced heating & plumbing engineers based in Braintree, serving local towns and nearby areas. When you call, either Dan or Steve will deal with your inquiry as best we can and offer advice or provide a quote for works if required.

We operate a fair opening hours of 08:00-18:00 weekdays only and strive for a personal customers base and are proud to look after our friendly customers and do our best when plumbing & heating is required in emergencies but at this time do not operate an emergency call out service.We usually work to a two week notice for all installation and plumbing works so please call ahead with as much time as possible if you can.

I rent out a property in Braintree and urgently needed a plumber to repair an immersion heater in a hot water cylinder. I contacted an agent in Braintree who recommended 3 plumbers in the area. The first plumber that attended tried to rip me off by saying that in order to change a 35 part I had to replace the entire cylinder & that this would set me back approx 500!

Another company came to look at central heating. Took 10 mins and condemned 9 year old boiler.
Wanted a second opinion so called D&J heating and plumbing of Braintree.
Engineer took the time to diagnose the issue, (temperature probe)went and collected part, returned and fitted.
5* Service!. Thank you!.

Been using them for my plumbing needs for many years, for such things as boiler installation/servicing, and shower and radiator fitting and other related issues, and they're always a friendly and trustworthy service. Highly recommend.
